The instrumental opening for the album.
With the volume swell at the very beginning of the track and the album, I wanted to suggest a kind of attack signal, a some kind of Wagernian hunting call that signals the start of a tragedy.
The title is somewhat misleading, as the choruses with doubled guitars are anything but soft. The track originated from a simple soft but ominous three note chord progression. Hence the working title that got stuck.
The original idea was to add Tool-like vocals as well, but along the way I found the track worked better without them.
